Sixteen is debut movie of director Raj Purohit. The movie Sixteen is about the tests and trials that teenagers go through. Sixteen’ movie is all about sixteen’s world. It’s a world where growing up has speeded up multifold times from the time you and me were kids. Produced by Shailesh R Singh and Vishwas Joshi, the movie has been extensively shot at the Delhi school where Shah Rukh Khan studied. According to the director, it was his interaction with teenagers – while working on television serials – that inspired him to make this movie. He adds that his film is also about the adults around these teenagers, who make and remake their world in many ways – sometimes harshly, and at other times beautifully.
Sixteen Movie Synopsis:
Sixteen captures the life of these four teens, as they go through with their several loves and heartaches, dreams and destructions in their school, home and the outside world. Sixteen is the story of their friendship and confused path that takes during their growing up years. And also regarding the adults around them who make, unmake and remake their world – sometimes harshly, sometimes beautifully.
