Sona Spa is starring Naseeruddin Shah as Baba Dayanand in lead role. You may commit different kinds of crimes in the sleep and thus now your sleep-worker becomes the eye witness. Baba Dayanand (Naseerddin Shah) runs the Sona Spa. He says that It is essential to commit crimes in your sleep or else you will commit them when you are awake.
Sona Spa is based on a Hindi Play, written and Directed by Makrand Deshpande, which fetches out the serious concern of lack of sleep due to different kinds of reasons that on the whole causes unhealthy and exhausting life. A convincing, interesting, unexplained and a witty story of sleep is being narrated through 2 central characters (sleep workers), Rucha a billionaire from Mumbai and Ritu, a middle class girl from Pune. Rucha wants to sleep for her Billionaire father who doesn’t get sleep and Ritu for her sister who is not able to sleep by always recollecting the accident in which they lost their mother and brother. Rucha and Ritu starts sleeping on behalf of their clients and in the process they simple started to live their Dreams. Rucha’s client is Choksi, who is a rich man and looking for sleep, while on other side Ritu’s client is a police officer, who is being disguised as some head of a company, cross-checking if there is any illegal work going on inside the ‘Sona Spa’. Complexities come into view, when these Sleep Workers not only sleep on behalf of their sleep depressed clients, but as well live in the Kingdom of their Dreams. The Sleep Workers’ Dreams turns out to be manifestations of their client’s subconscious mind. As secrets successively spill out into the open, they engrave loads of machinations of the human mind. Sona Spa gives you your sleep, but in return also takes away your Dreams. The movie Sona Spa reveals many things in front of you.
